Fit this in-line before your Floodcheck to limit the flow rate to a safe level. Also acts as an isolator valve.
15mm Flow restrictor.
The Floodcheck(r) valves are designed to operate with a mximum of 40 litres per min passing through.
In the majority of cases this as more than adequate , problay too much. ., most are about 15 litre per min.
The mains water pressure and supply will limit it to this.
A few installations have very high pressure and flow rates.,Normally due to high power water pumps having been installed in high rise flats etc.
If the flow rate to exceeds 40 litres per min , the Auto units will shut down automatically.
By installing the flow restrictor in line before the Floodcheck(r) the flow will be limited to a more acceptable safer flow level.
( 1- 20 lpm).

By adjusting the screw the flow can be restricted or completely shut off to isolate the Floodcheck from the water supply. One end has a LOOSE UNION NUT with a female 3 /4" bsp connections and 15mm compression type fitting the other.
