This is a complete water alarm kit with loud audible alarm and a control box
with a valve with either 15mm or 22m,m connectors
Only one remote sensor is supplied but you can add as many as you like. You can have a complete remote alarm with sensor and alarm bleeper, , or you can just have leak sensor pads which are cheaper.Just connect them all in series ( one after the other )
Place the leak sensor anywhere you think you might get a leak.. under boiler, the washing machine,dishwasher, the ice maker, the boiler, the bath , the sink or basin, the basement etc.

The leak detector alarm , and the control box comes with it own internal battery.As the battery is only used when there is an alarm fault the battery will last many years.We suggest changing them every two years and run a leak test once a month.
There is a relay output on the audible alarm which will activate the valve when the sensors get wet and turn off your water supply.
The alarm will continue screaming for 72 hours or until you sort out the leak and dry out the sensor.
In such long alarm periods replace the battery.
The water will remain off until you reset it using the switch on the control box.
The control box also allow you to turn your water on or off at the flick of a switch. So when you leave home just turn off the water supply by the switch. If the water is not on.. your unlikely to get a leak.

PP3 Alkaline Battery
15 (2) mm push fit pipe connectors
9volt dc latching solenoid valve.
Full instructions are supplied. No high voltage is used.
The valve and the leak detector sensor can be connected to the control box with the plug in lead and socket suplied. Or alternatively you can connect then up by Hard wire ( cables ) into the terminal block inside whjich is neater and less chance of the plugs being pulled out by accident..There is also the facilty to have opotional external rechargable back up batteries. However.. the battery will last many years.
Installations to the water supply should be done by a competetent person.
If in any doubt please consult a professional plumber or electrician.
